There is nothing shy about this 1970s Guy Laroche Boutique Paris dress. Electrifying lime, exquisite tailoring and a silhouette designed to be noticed — this is vintage with presence.

Its ingenious trompe-l’œil construction creates the illusion of a cropped jacket over a sculpted sheath, while remaining one beautifully conceived garment. Turn-back cuffs, graphic buttons, precise seaming and discreet pockets reveal Laroche’s exceptional eye for structure.

Elegant, eccentric and gloriously confident, wear it when simply arriving isn’t quite enough.

Styling. Embrace the drama with ivory, a sculptural hat, gloves and a structured handbag, or take it somewhere sharper with refined pumps and bold sunglasses.

Condition

Very good vintage condition.
With only light signs of previous wear consistent with age. The vivid lime colour remains beautifully fresh, the structured linen-blend fabric presents very well, and the distinctive trompe-l’œil construction, buttons and original detailing are well preserved.
Natural slubs and subtle irregularities visible in the weave are characteristic of the linen-rich fabric rather than flaws. Please refer to the photographs for the most accurate representation of condition.
